Km 36" Signature Ice Base Paint

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

First, lets get this out of the way: I can easily google "glass paint" and pick up some stuff, so I don't need to be directed to lmgtfy.com sleep.gif

haha ok, now for the question -

My KM base has lost all it's base color over the last year... the cool arabic swirly designs are still there (in gold, must have used a diff paint or something) but the base red color is 90% gone and looking like it had one hell of a night.

Has anyone had any luck or have any product recommendations to fix 'er up? I was thinking about using the glass stain you find at craft stores, the kind where you paint it then let it sit in the over on lowheat for 2 hours.

TIA for any help!

I don't see why some low grade Acrylic paint wouldn't work... If no one here has an opinion for you, you should stop by a local art supply store and ask them - they should be the experts.

My thoughts exactly... there has to be some special stuff... I am worried that the generic glass stain will just flake off like the original paint, once the base gets chilled and starts sweating.
