putting a stem (the sticks that are in the nakhla that arent leaves) makes it so that the foil cant get sucked down and block air. If you have cloud issues try a windcover with 3 coals and take it on and off as needed, if using coconaras make sure to flip them periodically as well. GL!

Allright thanks for that smile.gif

Right now i ran out of Coco so i'll order new one.
I'll use 3Kings for the moment, that suck =\

I'll try to find a windcover here or maybe packing the foil much tighter ...

i use 3k usually, for them on a medium phunnel i would use 3 or 4 halves, and have them at the corners. to break them in half score them across the center with either your tongs or a knife and they break much easier. and dont forget to rotate about pi/4 or pi/6 radians every 3-5 minutes

if there's not a lot of smoke then you may have an air leak somewhere....if its a dual hose and no autoseal, make sure you don't pull at the same time and someone has their thumb over the hose when they're not talking a pull....

Nah it's a 1 pipe.
All the seal are new ...

But i found a small leak into the steam when i washed it last week ...
The steam had water in it ... So can it be the problem ?!

could be...if the pipe has leaks in it, when you pull...you will be pulling in air mixed with your smoke...which results in reduced smoke density...

however, i've also noticed it kinda depends on the person too...might just be me, but when my friend pulls (about 5 seconds), he gets ridiculous clouds. when i pull about (about 10 seconds), i get a good sized but no where near his density. not sure why, but i think my lungs or something are maybe absorbing more shit?

Well i'm like your friend ! I pull very big clouds but since i got the funnel it seems different !
i think my hose is scrap too ... its kinda "rusty" ... stupid non-washable KM hose ... Need a new one
So i'll try that option and see if it can be better with a new hose Edited by Frankay

what you should do also is take the bowl off your stem and plug the top with your thumb, then after you plug it try to inhale through the hose. if it bubbles you have an issue and try to find the leak that way.

I'll give it a try after work tonight !
I really hope it's not the stem ...
Don't feel buying a new one since i just put 50$ onto this one ...

it might be as simple as the seal of the grommet might not be good enough, and by chance there is a crack in the stem either email the people you bought it from for a refund or fix it with jb weld.

Try your method yesterday.
There no leak at all. I block the stem, give it a pull and no bubble or something
Everything's tight.
Might be the heat management i do wrong !
I will keep praticing ! smile.gif

In my opinion unless you are using mizo or some relatively wet nakhla I would just use a standard egyptian bowl to smoke nakhla out of. If you need help on the packing method I can give you one that has yet to fail me for the regular nakhla line. Just lemme know.

IMO, the taste with the funnel with the Nakhla is awesome compared to a regular bowl ...

Ah ok. Well the closest I can get to smoking nakhla in a phunnel is in a vortex bowl. Mayb I should try my nakhla in my vortex bowl...never tried it since my Egyptian didn't steer me wrong.
