Al Fakher Hookah On Ebay

Recommended Posts

Normally I would just post this in the eBay thread, but I am actually somewhat serious about this hookah. It looks totally badass in my opinion. What do you guys think? It is worth $95 shipped? Man it looks gorgeous to me wub.gif

Looks nice but I doubt that it smokes nice. From experience with similar looking ones the air flow is not very smooth and alot of stale smoke stays inside.

I can be wrong but if you look at the place above the vase, that compartment looks like it has a tight part below it.

I know that there is only one way to know for sure wink.gif

That is most definitely a chinese made pipe. Many of the different styling cues give that away. The posting is off I suppose.

Chinese pipes CAN smoke well, they just tend to be a little cheap.

This is my personal experience with hookahs that look exactly like that one. We have nearly 1000 cheap chinese hookahs sitting in a warehouse that have components that are extremely similar to those. The plastic globes crack, on their own after <100 smokes. The down stems screw into the stem, but the part of the down stem that screws into the stem is crap and comes off the down stem and cant be reconnected. most of them are a common chamber made to look like it has tubes. All of the finishes will come off in under a year.

My lounge switched over from high quality Syrians (lasted 4 years of 3-6 times a night useage) to crappy chinese hookahs about a year ago. We have since gone through 3 entire sets of hookahs due to the cheap ones always breaking.

That is just my opinion. If your heart is set on it then go for it. But the price is a fucking rip off. I dont even want to tell you what we pay for similar models.

do you have link to that? it's definately not an al fakher hookah, it's the same type of Chinese hookah that some folks try to sell as "premium modern hookahs", not wanting to name names. It's ok but for $95 you could do better imho. the only thing i have a problem with is them calling it an AF hookah.

Doesn't the heart of the hookah sort of look like the butt of a holographic dart?

i see now that the link comes up when you click on the pic. anyways, they say al fakher "style" hookah, now that makes all the sense in the world.
actually it's a starbuzz style hookah as SB is in the business of importing these types of hookahs, you can tell by the glass, and well, every other component.

Thanks for you advice(even thought it makes me sad sad.gif )! I will pass on this one. I buy hookahs to smoke, not to sit around and look pretty. I was hoping this one would do both, but from the sounds of it, it is an el-cheap-o hookah. Thanks for helping me save my money!

And John, I agree with you one the Starbuz style thing. I have been looking around and have noticed Starbuz has imported some. This one does look strikingly similar to the those. I also noticed you have nice little MZ for pretty cheap. Man I wish I was in college right now, I am still trying to figure out how to explain a hookah or hookah accessories coming in the mail to my parents.
