Plain Pyrex Bowls? Anyone Know A Vendor?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,
The only place I can find clear plain Pyrex bowls are from a certain scammer's website and since I'd like to actually receive the products I buy, the search continues.

Anyone know a non-banned source?

Thanks!

Whatcha lookin for? Just an egyptian style glass bowl?

Do you have the specs for a tang style mini phunnel down to a science by chance?

Also, If you blow all kinds of things, I'm interested in having someone take some 3" pyrex tubing and making me an 18" downstem cover. I have the plans if that's not clear. Basically I'm looking to have an 18" cylinder to enclose my 1/2" wide downstem and provide an icechamber. It will be made watertight by using rubber grommits at the top and bottom. One opening at the top and bottom slightly larger than 1/2" and a 2nd top opening for water & ice.

Those are easy, but I will recommend you check out mnhookah.com for that. They just came out with a great glass variation of the mini phunnel, and truthfully I don't want to step on another vendors toes, especially when they're a reputable shop that I buy from even. I specialize more so in making other variations of a phunnel concept. We are in production of the crown bowl, as well as the crown jewel. The crown jewel is a hybrid of a phunnel and a crown, with a hole in the center, and 5 airways around the rim of the bowl. This guy holds 175-200g on a large size. Smalls are 100g. smile.gif We'll also do an array of glass hookahs, hookah hose tips (in lieu of an acrylic or metal mouth piece. These include freezable, liquid filled mouth pieces), and hookah hoses themselves.

If there's something they don't do, however, custom orders are welcome.

The website date is July 1st to see the full catalog.

I don't like the glass at MNH, you're certainly not stepping on any toes there.

I can draw plans if you're interested in taking the work on. My 1st priority is getting a 3" or 4" Pyrex/borosilicate glass cylinder done. Once my downstem material comes in I can get really specific. It's in transit to DC from TX right now.

Please let me know if you're interested, as I'm certainly interested, now that I know your work. (beautiful)

Sahara smoke has a lot of Pyrex bowls but none that are clear and plain. You can try and ask them if they can get them or have any that aren't on the site. Worth a shot.

Sahara is on my own personal banned vendors list. Would much rather support an artist like Santino if possible, rather than some big company with Chinese wares.

Word. Just ask Santino then.  I don't know of anywhere else besides Sahara Smoke.

The latest activity from Santino makes me think it might be best not to bother him right now if he's trying to launch a site. I'll probably hold off a month or two and let him get his feet under him before I go asking for custom work.

Santino's A-OK. I effing love my crown bowl. It is my go to for almost everything. He farms out some of his custom to local guys, if I understand it right, so don't worry about overburdening him.
