snickerdoodle
Hello! I'm a pipesmoker and am looking to diversify - but all these brightly-colored packages make me very wary. All the shisha brands I can find on the internet seem to be drugstore fair -- where can I find classic, hand-made blends, from craftsmen?, rather than this mass-produced stuff-in-a-can? I would never buy pipe tobacco, loose cigarette tobacco, cigars or cigarettes packaged and manufactured in such an impersonal way. Where can I find the real gourmet of shishas? nuschultz
Buy Tangiers.
aronparsons
Sounds like you're looking for Tangiers, Fumari or Starbuzz. Limited availibility, unique flavors, and they're the rave around here. ;-)
Cornellius
if it were legal to send tobacco from here, I would send you REAL tömbeki... which has insane nicotine levels...
EsOva
actually, when i got their (starbuzz) guava...the thing was like yellow, ive never seen a tobacco that bright in color!
EsOva
understood, because i have tried their exotic apple too and its gotta floral scent to me...anyhoo, cant go wrong with starbuzz, awesome stuff!
The Pope
the guava starbuzz looks to me like marmalade - I think the coloring is a natural byproduct of the ingredients rather than an artificial additive.
HookahEnthusiast
Yea from what your saying, and how "traditional and hand crafted" your wanting to go...id reccomend a zaghoul or tombeki style tobacco as stated above but if not then definitly Tangiers and Starbuzz. You cant go wrong with those 2.....
EsOva
from what ive read, i think he's trying to buy a tobacco that doesnt look so cheap in appearance, which usually results in less care and effort put inside the actual product...now dont get me wrong, there are exceptions, but in order to grasp someones sophisticated desire for a shisha, you need to be classy and not throw every color on the map on your packaging. thank you. have a nice day. Sonthert
I like the way this guy thinks!I make my tobacco with no artificial colors and everything is made by hand, in small batches to ensure its quality to you.Its packaged in soft baggy, too. Saves on space and less goes into the landfill.
mOrOccanQuEEn
this reminds me of a line from the film "bride and prejudice" - you want people to come to india and not have to deal with indians. . . you want non-arab sheesha.
marinho
Lately I've been smoking Al Fakher tobacco. It's fantastic, the most flavorful and smoothest shisha I've ever smoked.

And from what I've read here and elsewhere, Tangiers is the way to go for this. I'll be able to back this with actual experience later this week, but all other brands seem to fulfill the ma'assell cliche mentioned in the quote. JByer323
I hear that Tangiers guy is a class act. Well his products at least.
jmexx
I can vouch for both Fumari and Tangiers in terms of product. I enjoy Al Amir, too, but I don't think it'd be what you're looking for!Jon
Sonthert
Sheesha has ceased to be Arabic along time ago (well five+ years). I agree with the sentiments of the gentleman, traditional maasel wasn't made in bulk, it was made by wives for their husbands. Whomever invented it matters little. What matters is who makes it best. The automobile was largely invented in the US. So, you want to complain about Japanese and German auto manufacturers because their products aren't "authentic"? JByer323
...so using that logic, are you like our Arabic wife, Tangiers? Because I've been saying I need a little Arabic man to pack my hookah, but an Arabic woman would work just as well, plus you could make the shisha as well. Are you hot?
