Washing A Razan/nammor Hose

I have a razan hose, it is great that it is washable but what is the proper technique for doing this?

I say use warm water because hot water will cause the glue to loosen in the hose handle and cause the hose to fall apart. Not too big of a deal as you can just re-glue it but yeah ... i say warm water.

well not steaming hot. yeah more warm. I cover one end with my thumb and stretch the hose to fill up at that end, then switch so I never get it too hot!

I only use cold water, let it swish around for a bit.

Then I use a little bit of isopropyl alcohol (to get the scent out). Then I use cold water again.

Thanks for the responses. I'll give them a try tonight. Is there a way I rinse it without soaking the fabric?

i use cold water, sometimes lemon juice and baking soda...

I just rinse with cold water after each use, then hang to dry. You will not protect the cheap gym sock fabric from getting wet.

If you want, put a large dish bowl down on the floor below your sink. Then run the water through the hose down to the bowl. Squeeze the lemon juice into the hose. Cap an end with your thumb. Fill with warm water. Swish around. Drain. Rinse with cold water 2 times. Let dry. Smoke. Edited June 19, 2009 by Bulldog_916
