I use the same tupperware, but plastic is porus (hence the loss of flavor). They also get stained and hold in the smell of whatever you had in there last.

I've been searching form som pyrex glass containers, but they all have plastic lids. My search continues...

Eric was the one who said that polypropylene was recommended for tobacco storage. i put all my tang and nakhla in them (and some AF) and there doesn't appear to be any staining going on. a few that i had emptied i just tossed in the dishwasher and the smell et al came right out and were good to go with new baccys.

but whatever helps you sleep at night.

I use some really nice glass and stainless steel containers that IKEA sells. They run $2.99 each.

Those look pretty swift. Don't have an IKEA close to me, but next time I am there I will check them out.

All,

I found some pretty nice glass preserve jars at World Market for $4. They seal well, easy to clean, and are made in Italy. The ones I found are 1/2L and are a perfect size for 250g. World Market's website appears to sell them online but only in larger sizes (which I guess is good if you need to store more then 250). I found these smaller ones at a local World Market store. If you have one near you I would check it out, otherwise here is the link for the ones you can buy online.

World Market

Attached are some pics of the smaller ones that work very well for 250g...
