They also get stained and hold in the smell of whatever you had in there last.I've been searching form som pyrex glass containers, but they all have plastic lids. My search continues... My search continues...Eric was the one who said that polypropylene was recommended for tobacco storage. i put all my tang and nakhla in them (and some AF) and there doesn't appear to be any staining going on. a few that i had emptied i just tossed in the dishwasher and the smell et al came right out and were good to go with new baccys.but whatever helps you sleep at night. limelight Posted June 28, 2009 Share Posted June 28, 2009 All,I found some pretty nice glass preserve jars at World Market for $4. They seal well, easy to clean, and are made in Italy. The ones I found are 1/2L and are a perfect size for 250g. World Market's website appears to sell them online but only in larger sizes (which I guess is good if you need to store more then 250). I found these smaller ones at a local World Market store.
