TizaNabi
Thought I knew the best places to buy shisha products in Israel, but I found something that would be great for any traveller to Israel this summer. Logically you would imagine that in Arab villages or towns youd find great selections. I lived in the Upper Gallilee area for 30 years and would go into villages that only had a few flavours of Nakhla.com . In my own former town we had Nakhla on every street, usually about 8 varied flavours. 8 years back after hit and miss one grocery store owner in an Arab village near me said "Go to King of the Nargilah" in the town of Kfar Yasif. (Village of Yosef). Living there are around 60 percent Christian Arabs and 40 percent Moslem. In peace. Maybe Christians live there with a tie to some "Yosef" who is dear to Christianity? Husband of Mary? As I say, was looking for the store . If you are in the Galilee its 5 miles from Akko which is north on the Mediterranean Sea .8 kilometers inland.Ask for the village Kfar Yasif the store is "Melech HaNargilot" in Hebrew. In English they might not realize what you want. Arabs and Jews come there from all the north to buy. They have a gargantuan selection of hookahs and everything involved. Even a pneumatic air blower to clean hoses and check for any bad seals in a hookah. The shisha is Nakhla, Al-Waha, home made brands, Saet-Safa. You can get a pack of 10 40 gram packets for $3.00 but look on the date! They buy in bulk cheap and send the savings to you, but you can safely go a year past the date on these. Don't try bringing 40 packets of shisha back to America .The Custom tax official won't believe the price you paid.
