Especially if you have the budget to do so, it's worth not having a ton of flavors you dont enjoy around and I hate wasting money like that. antouwan Posted June 21, 2009 Share Posted June 21, 2009 i know you want to buy everything from hookah-shisha; they're a good vendor, but i think you're unnecessarily constricting yourself by doing that. also, they claim to price match, so i'd hit them up on that...plus forum discounts; no sense in paying more than you have to.i had a double hose mya about 2 or 3 years ago and got rid of it. i have 4 kms and am very pleased with every single one. a lounge me and a few of my buddies go to uses myas exclusively and i have to say that i'd rather smoke out of my kms. the draw is a tad easier, they feel/sound much more appealing (albeit aesthetics), they're MUCH easier to clean than myas, i just find them better all the way around. if portability is really THAT big of an issue - and with your budget - i don't see why you can't pick up both. i think an origianl KM trimetal from HookahCompany will be your best bet for a KM. and for portability i know the crowd here will all say Bambino/QT ftmfw lolz!!!!1111oneoneoneone but i think that the portability between a standard mya acrylic and a QT is almost negligible, unless you're so pressed for space that you have to take the stem apart and put it in your pocket...I would tell you to pick up at least one small ORIGINAL TANGIERS phunnels, not the chinese ripoffs. and at least one nammor/razan hose. i would also get the jumbo tongs and tangiers sized wind cover from Hookahjohn.com - he's a great guy with unparalleled service and i'll always recommend people to support his business (most people don't say shit about tongs, but the larger variety are so much easier to use than the tiny tongs that come for free). that pretty much wraps up necessary accessories, if you want to get czech bases and all that all power to you but for performance they're a fuck all.for tobacco, since you've said that you've been puffing on the AF, i would suggest branching out with a FEW more AF flavors (mainly golden ESK apple), but going for stuff like Nakhla and tang lucid. nakhla is cheap and it's damn good, especially paired with the tang phunnel (get a tight pack with the nak and a phunnel and the smoke will be hella good). you can also check out fusion (i've had great experiences with it).also a coil burner and legit natural coals (like coco naras or John's CH coals) are a must.hope that helped, happy smoking!
