Tangiers F-Line: Apple

Recommended Posts

Say Hello to your new favorite party tobacco!Setup:
25"  Stargate.  Large Tangiers bowl (approx 10-15 grams of ma'assel). 2 1" chunks of  Al Kemma charcoal. Foil. Room temperature water. Smoked inside. Tobacco allowed to air out for 2-3 hours before smoking. Diffuser: None.
Aroma: One of the BEST smelling tobacco's I've ever seen. Not immensly strong, but I immidiatly wanted to fire it up. Smells like an apple cola. Absolutely delicious smell.

Cut: Tangiers cut with a twist. This one is juicier, and slightly *lighter* to the touch. A little less fluid at the bottom of the bag than usual.

Color:  Again, a slight twist here. Your standard black, but with a golden hue. Its actually quite shimmery in the light.

Smoke Density: Medium. As most people agree, this isnt where this tobacco really stands out from the crowd. Nakhla-esque thickness.Flavor: Apple is great right? Anise is just one of those things you have to get over, right? NO! Welcome to a deliciously sweet apple that you'll smack your mama for. The anise IS present, but in a way like I've never tasted. It actually compliments the flavor without being overpowering. This stuff is great! AF: Golden Esk apple this!!
Buzz: Ok, I know what your thinking. So Tangiers has made a really good apple. There are many others. Take a cup of double brewed coffee, add a couple shots of Red Bull, Amp, Full Throttle, Rockstar, and Go Fast, and what do you have? Get up and DANCE! The caffine effect occurs 2-3 minutes into the bowl. By the time you start exhaling some decent sized clouds, you find yourself starting to do a little jig to the comercial on the TV in the other room. Its unlike ANYTHING out there.
Overall: Wow. Wow. WOW. If you dont
like tobacco that gives a strong buzz, or makes you feel mellow/
Actually screw that. I dont care what you're preferences in tobacco
are. Smoke Tangiers F-line Apple! This is easilly the most interesting
ma'assel in existance. I wish I had two more hands so I could give this tobacco four thumbs up. Click your hot-link to hookahcompany and snag a bag of this stuff as soon as you can. Second day air. I cant wait to have some of my friends try this stuff- it would be absolutely perfect for smoking at parties where people are dancing and socializing. Im looking forward to using this stuff for late-night homework as well.Tangiers Kashmir Peach was the first (and only) tobacco I've ever given a 10/10. Tangiers F-line Apple? 14/10. For the win.

I should have mentioned, I have an extremely high caffine tolerance. I usually drink 2-3 cups of coffee every morning, followed by a 16 ounce energy drink on the way to school- one on my way to work- and one on my way home for homework. Included is a sheet which explains that if you are susceptible to caffine(or dont know if you are), you should mix this stuff with other tobacco until you feel comfortable with its effects.

u got a buzz from the f-line? i have the chocolate caffeiene, and while it does have a nice caffeine buzz it was nothing like what u were describing. im not a huge caffeine person myself, a 16oz rockstar gets me an hour or 2 max buzz of energy, this was about 15-20min. Then again its soaked in caffeine as he showed me in the factory tour so concentration levels can differ, as to a blend of energy drink which is all measured out

Hmm, Im not sure why that is djnick. I immagine it has to do with the way the different flavoring chemicals accept other chemicals(nicotine, caffine, ect). Tangiers Kashmir Apple has an enormously strong buzz, while his Kashmir Peach is relatively mellow. Thats the only thing I can think of. Maybe Eric can shed a little light on the subject. But yes,  I did have a very strong caffine buzz.

Actually, Tangiers claims to have a .3% nicotine level. My point was- I find it interesting that there is extremely varrying differences in the buzz one recieves from different flavors of the same brand. Nakhla included(think of Nakhla strawberry vs. Nakhla rose)

Hmmm. I haven't done encompassing testing...humidity effects may play a part in this too...less so, since caffeine isn't terribly water soluble (Thats why we have to make coffee and tea from hot water). Call hookah company directly and they will sell it to you...it is available its just the yech guy hasn't put it up yet. I always thought the notes in the apple were more cinnamon like. Don't you think 14/10 is a little excessive? I think 13.8 would have gotten it and not sounded like we were showing off. I believe, my best guess is that the tobacco is .3% nicotine...there are lots of complicating factors. It might be as high as .5%, depending on the mass transfer issues that are unclear...
