Golden Canary Users I Need Your Opinion

Recommended Posts

I just bought a 96 piece box of Golden Canaries to try out with Tangiers because I hear they put out a lot less heat than coco's.

How many coals do you generally use on a small phunnel? This is a matter of personal preference and packing methods. I am just trying to figure out a general idea smile.gif

Thanks,

mine used to hover around 3-4...then Bulldog mentioned he got by with 2. i found out that if i start with 4 coals, then remove two...i can still get sufficient smoke and flavor. helps save on coals...since i burn through a lot of them.

i dunno...i'd suggest starting off with 2 then adding more. usually safer that way, than 4 and working backwards... Edited by arcane

Hmm. Maybe ill try 2 with a heat cover and work my way up. The heatcover works wonders for me. I always use it instead of using another coal.
