EvansLight
I never thought the day would come, that i would have to forever abandon my Three Kings. But that day has come. After having tried Exoticas and not being impressed, i got me a nice box of Coconaras. I gotta say I'm in love. Heat on them is good and steady, and they add nothing to the flavor. I am now out and still wanted another bowl (only got a 16ct box to try) and had to break into my box of 3k. I finally taste the flavor they had. I had always called people crazy cause i never tasted anything, now i do, and it sucks. Not to mention its making my throat tingle in a way i don't like.Point of this topic other then ranting? Anyone want some 3k's No the point is, anyone else try going back to quick lights when they run out? Suck this bad for anyone else?

Stuie
After I switched to Coconaras a bit over a year ago. I had 2 boxes of Golden Quicklights. I use them when I travel. I am down to 1.5 boxes of Goldens.
mjdx88
Yep....welcome to one of the worlds most expensive nat coal. I was sold after using them one time. I have tried exoticas, i wasnt impressed, too much work to break em in to the sizes I want and the golden coals are too messy and annoying to get rid of the foil. Im looking at the AF coals next, they are a little cheaper per bowl.

Jeff_T
I definitely like cocos, but recently got a box of CH naturals and really like them. Other than smelling a bit when lighting, I light them outside so it doesn't bother me, they are great and have more coals to a box then cocos, so they're a better deal. newjacksm
I did this a couple days ago first time I smoked witha QL in about 6 months and fuck all I could taste was chemicals and it was hurting my throat... I ditched a perfectly good bowl and was hookahed out because of the shitty QL.
redjako
I started out with QL's, and its only after you get into natural's that you will typically taste the difference. The difference, is smokability..

I have no problems using them on my small phunnel. Either 2 coals with more heat management, or cutting them up in halves works wonders.. Either way is just as effective, with the ease going to the 4 halves. Shoot, I can get Tangiers going with 3 cocos, if I hang them off as far as they can go.. But that's my opinion on it. So personally I think lump coals are the best coals to have around.
