Fumari Double Apple??

Recommended Posts

Alright So For a while now I've heard how good Double Apple is. So I went down to my local shop and bought 50 grams of the Fumari Double apple for $7.00, Price is ridiculous but the only way to get shisha down here asap. So I head home thinkin that this is gonna be pretty awesome and really excited. I get home clean out my hookah and set everything up. I load up a bowl and light up with some japanese coals. I take my first hit and it strongly taste like black licorice, which I didn't like at all. Pretty disgusting if I must say. And I really couldn't stop smoking cause paying 7 bucks for 50 grams is kinda hard on the pockets when I smoke about 200 grams with friends during the week. So Now my question is do all of the double apples have a strong distguising taste of licorice in it cause it didn't taste good at all last night.Thank you in advance for your opinions

Yeah, pretty much all double apple varieties have a somewhat strong licorice flavor, which I'm not a big fan of either :(  sucks that you had to waste $7 to find out you don't like it.

Yea it really does suck that I have to pay soo much money for 50 grams. And on occasion I buy these "asskickers" which come in the flavors of berry blasy, orange bang, and big black dog, that they have which carry an little extra kick but that cost me 10 dollars. It sucks soo bad so I have recently thought about going through some companies online....hopefully I get my replacement debit card soon

Yea typically all Double Apple And Tripple Apple Flavors have anise in them or licorice flavoring...if your looking for a good apple flavor that doesnt have anise there are several brands that carry them without the anise such as: Al Fahker Eskandarni Apple (it's a green apple) Tangiers Apple ive heard does not have an anise as well as starbuzz sour apple. There are also several other brands that carry eskandarani type apples which generally have no anise flavoring to them.

AH, I should have added this.Try letting the tobacco be exposed to the open air for several hours, and give it another shot.  It may be experiencing "humidity shock", which sometimes dulls flavors, while othertimes makes them overbearing. Its worth a shot. I'd hate to spend 7.00 only to throw it in the garbage =(
