breldar
I spoke to DMC also form Hookahroyal and its all true, the customs and excise folks have now put a tax on all the shisha coming in as they have classified it under the rolling tobacco bracket so im told. As a result its now all taxed at 75p per £1 so its costing a fortune. Thats why alot of places shisha cafes and websites have been raided, theres been panic amongst them and so they took everything offline. You can email them and see, but currently its being conviscated as illegal tobacco as they havent paid tax for it so alot of folks are keeping low right now so its pretty hard to bring it in. If anyone knows of shops that are selling genuine products let me know, there are too many fakes around atm so gta look out. A great way to tell the difference is looking at a video on youtube ive posted a link below http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nduK_q1ofZY
Sonthert
The 75% Tax has been around for awhile. They're just getting angry about enforcing it.
plymouthshisha
I can get the odd bit of afzal from a shop not far from me. There is also someone selling AF near me. I have a feeling it's the guy from the shop but he's doing it from his house instead of his shop. I'll call him later and get prices. If i can help you out I will, provided the forum will allow it....? I don't want to make anything off it, just being helpful!

plymouthshisha
Steve, if you need me to, I can get you some 250gr Nakhla Double Apple, or Al Fakher 250gr in a couple flavours. They are 9.99 down the road so I'll grab you some and post it. It'd just be the 9.99 and postage cost. Would that be allowed on here?

Sonthert
The word from an importer from UK is that its not a ban as much as it is a zero tolerance on unpaid tobacco. If you don't pay the 75%, they jack it.

Mapexdrumboi
I spoke to hookahshop.co.uk and apparently there were only a couple of people who imported shisha into the country. These businesses were the wholesalers of shisha in the uk. Since the economic turndown, these people have either gone bust or shut up shop. So no shisha is getting into the country. This means that websites and high street shops will have to import there own stock, which means the prices will increase dramatically. If anybody has a bit of cash lying around, fancy starting a new business venture?
Johnny_D
I Heard that to Max. Along with some other stuff. The picture is not clear in the uk over shisha tobacco for a number of reasons. There is a lot of black market stuff around places in London.
