My Af Two Apple

So yesterday I finally got my hookah in the mail and the first bowl I packed was AP two apple which didnt taste like apple at all to me, it had more of a licorice taste, has anyone else had this experience or did I just get a weird batch of apple?

That's Double Apple for you. Anise with an apple undertone.

all double apples have the anise taste, some brands are more dominant than others.
i hate AF 2apple but nakhla is good because you can actually taste some apple.
if you dont like the anise taste at all then i would suggest that you try al fakher golden eskandarani apple.

That's how DA is supposed to be... AF's version I believe had the most anise taste vs something like Nakhla

that isn't a bad batch, that's just Double Apple. from my past experience, AF's single apple isn't too bad, and no anise! Golden Eskandarini apple is also really good, but it isn't a red apple taste, it's a green sour apple - and it's extra delicious!

Double Apple is my most hated flavor xD I never really liked licorice, and it uses anise, which of course taste like licorice. I have never had a DA that actually had any apple flavor at all.

My favorite apple has to be Al Fahker Eskandrini Apple, which is a sour apple. Baharini apple is a good straight apple though.

AF's golden bahraini? the one with the red apple on the box? i bought (what i believed to be bahraini apple from Nakhla - i remember it saying Bahraini in arabic on the box...it was a while ago though) and when i opened the bag i just tossed it straightaway in the bin...

AF Golden Bahraini has anise but is nice stuff--sweet and juicy. Like has been said AF Double Apple is the most anisey of the DA's out there (which is why I love it).

AF Double-apple was the first shisha I ever smoked. I still love it, and the anise flavor is great with a cup of some nice sweet, hot tea to mellow it out. Though, the apple doesn't come through much, that's not a big deal to me.
