chinodos
You should patent and sell this!!! Great idea. How tall is the hookah you have set up in there? I'm thinking about making my own here in Dallas. Indian's right you may want to get a larger tray to put in the middle or another one of those silicon mats to catch coals in case the table shakes. I don't think it needs to be too much bigger since the there isn't alot of shaft above the table, coals shouldn't go too far.

coplinb
QUOTE (indian_villager @ Jul 10 2009, 02:12 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I'm with stuie on this one. You need to figure out a way to increase the potential coal drop radius on that. I dont think the ashtray will cover it. But it is a great idea for those that are into poker like that. Are you able to remove the poker facade if you plan on doing something else?Yeah that has been brought up a few times during the sessions, I don't ash my coals in the tray that often anyway. I use that small pink metal bucket that's in the pictures, it used to have a citronella candle in it so I popped the candle out, viola, coal tray. The only problem Ive had yet is getting old ash on the felt which doesn't like to come off without a brush but its not a huge problem, just annoying. Also, the table top is easily removable, Its only screwed in in four different places. I'm planning on getting some dowel rods and making some legs in the corners because when you have a beer and all the chips on your end, it starts to sag a little. To anyone who thinks this is cool and want their own, I swear to you it is not hard to do at all. All you have to do is find a table your pipe with fit in and use a hole saw in the middle, boom. The table top is just a cheap one from Target and I just used the same hole saw in the middle of that, boom. Its easy as pie and Ive already gotten a lot of games in, sadly the house hasn't won any money yet.
