def not a km. a local grocery around here carries pipes very similar to that, from the ports and polygon-type construction towards the base on the bottom of the shank, they appear to be more syrian than egyptian imo. for 30 bucks it isn't a bad buy though

I'd be hard pressed to buy any hookah from craigslist. How can you be sure they smoked tobacco from that hookah?

That would be a generic syrian. We've sold those in the shop before, they're heavy heavy heavy duty. It is marble, no wood. The stem weight is roughly 5 lbs or so. $40 is a decent price actually.

For me, its not about getting in trouble. It's the principle of the matter. I would not want to use a hookah that was used for other purposes.

You're also not the one interested in buying it. My point isn't omg the illegal cooties, I'd actually be more worried about herpes if there was a hose or whatnot than whether it was used for that purpose. I wouldn't be using it for that purpose, and it's just an object. This universe is pretty big and it's highly likely you have water molecules that have been recycled from much worse humans than whatever possibly *might* have (only stipulation) gone into a hookah that you're not buying, without your knowledge.

Follow rules and follow laws, but ocd'ing about something out of your own control only leads to stress. Is it worth the money? Is it worth purchasing?...

how is it OCD if he's sticking to his principles? He stated he wasn't concerned about the legality issues...he didn't want to use something that may have been used for NHT. I think that's perfectly fine...not even OCD.

Its like saying, well...I don't want to buy a gun from a pawn shop that has actually been used to kill someone. So, would your opinion, be "it's just a gun." Why do some people not want to buy a house where someone was murdered? What about a drug dealers car bought from Police Auction?
