Lighting Naturals

Recommended Posts

I feel like this is a dumb question but here we go. Ok so can I light naturals with a stove like this....http://img2.timeinc.net/toh/i/a/anniversary/features/innovation-stoves-10.jpg
One without coils on it? If not, I'll just go down the road to Walgreens and pick up that $10 one. But just wondering. Oh and also, can you light them on a grill? Never heard of someone doing it on here but I don't see why it wouldn't work (it's a gas grill)

Nope the Glass top will eventually crack. Cheap one from Walgreens is your best bet.

Good deal. Thanks. Oh, but what about a grill? Like removing the rack and just put them on the fire....seems like it would work.

The range will work...my mom used to light her natural coals on it all the time...now she just uses quick lights tho. IN any case if your gas grill has a side burner it will be easier to use it but you will most likely need a grate to balance the coals on or if you have a coal holder that has a grate like bottom it will work as well.

You can also use embers from the fire as coals too. I've done it before and its turned out alright.

i did it once and it was horrid, it have the nastiest taste to my shisha i have ever had

Must have been the types of wood. I got no taste from them.

i have no stove and need something to light my coco's with

microwave is the only option but i don't feel like setting my house on fire... although it is interesting that coconara's official web site seems to endorse it

I wouldn't put them in there. A propane torch will work.

I've been doing it for months, your glass won't break. It doesn't even take that long...

Even if yours hasn't it HAS happened to other members.

I would go with the safe bet and get a coil burner, but it's your stove.
