r1v3th3ad
I was giving my Magdy Zidan Nefertiti B a thorough cleaning after a long weekend of smoking up the cabin, when I came across a problem.I look down into the slop sink and see a little silicone ring sitting there broken. I think to myself, where the fuck could this have come from, this couldn't be off my MZ, they are quality, welded pipes.Well, A little bit ago, while finishing up, I discovered where this ring came from...where the chamber connects to the outter stem. Thats right, its not welded on. My pear and lower metal section was able to spin like it could unscrew.I threw on a light coat of JB Stick, I'm gonna give it a solid one later and then sand it down so its hardly noticable.I guess this gives me an excuse to buy that km(king tut) that I wanted...ain't this a disappointment folks? U just cant get enough of us HUH?Like I said in chat, If you want machine made perfection buy a MYA, if you want a handmade work of craftsmanship Buy egytian. Maybe the craftsman that made ur MZ was lazy or hungover when he made ur pipe...LOL

ilikemyusername
a similat thing happened to mine on saturday, but I dropped it and it snapped the weld, now the top spins round and round, but I don't think I'm ever going to smoke out of anything but my colossus. r1v3th3ad
mine suffered a minor fall while drunk around the bonfire sat night, but that didnt do it, the hot water cleaning did it to mine.it spins and spins, but I just tested it and it smokes perfect with the jb stick on it...I'm gonna replace the jb stick with silicone one of these days

mattarios2
i still think it is just b/c they are handmade so it depends on WHO does most of the welding/work.all of my km's have been perfect, most people's mz's have been perfect, but of course we are going to hear about these things, they are HAND MADE.it is a risk.
