jmorandall
I can think of nothing more relaxing then a hookah and a glass of wine after a hard days work.I have been smoking hookahs since I was eighteen. I have tried many flavors and variations of hookahs, I have come to respect that with combination's of different flavors there is an almost infinite possibility for hookah tastes. I also know that about the world of wine. I find that if you open a good bottle of pinot noir you will experience a soft smooth drink with hints of cherry, blackberry, and plum. This combined with a strawberry or cherry hookah is sure to relax even the most stirred and troubled souls. Here are some parings that I enjoyed:Al Fakher gold line strawberry with Italian rosso blends. An Italian sangiovese works well too.Eskandrini double apple with Nobillio sauvignon blanc. A moderatley priced australian sauvignon blanc would work well.Tangiers mizzo peach with Italian pinot grigio. Mezzacorona is my favorite and can be found at most stores.Al Fakher Jasmine with Merlot or cabernet sauvignon. Anything moderatley priced from sanoma or nappa california. NO CARLO ROSSI!!!!Please feel free to post your own parings or to comment on mine. I work for a Trader Joe's grocery store and select most of my wines from there. If you want more specific reccomendations let me know because all of mine can be found at a Trader Joe's. I will post more as I try them. Happy hookahing! Stuie
I don't know what it is a but a good Shiraz or Port goes with anything and I have tried. Nothing like Smoking some Tangiers Kashmir Cherry and Sipping on a port and telling yourself you have to wait an hour before you get up without falling down. Tangiers Sour and Romman Ivory Coast go great with Shiraz!
