Arcane
i find drinking a large glass of sugar water helps....i dunno if the sugar actually does anything, but i don't see why you can't benefit from a little sugar rush

Vampy6997
and then I woke up hiccuping too. (lol)While I'm not going to say one way or another, Sometimes hiccups are neurological, and being that I'm on a new medicine and the dose has been gradually increased it could be that...lol...kinda an off the wall side effect, it's definitely not listed, though the medicine is known to cause and help prevent epilepsy...sooo....some hiccups are caused by forms of epilepsy, could be that, I might be nuking it, but my diet didn't change, etc. we'll see...hopefully the hiccups don't continue. I've been eating soy nut butter, which is very close in fat/protein/carb ratio to peanut butter...but was eating that too before the hiccups started. :-p The hiccups aren't hanging around right now, but if they start after I take my medicine again, I'll know for sure what's up. It has something to do with forcing your tongue to the roof of your mouth and creating a vacuum to stop the hiccups.
