Matchew
Is it a good idea to put tobacco in a ziploc bag because thats what I do. And is it a good idea to put the tobacco in the fridge or does it depend on what kind it is?Also what is the difference with Shisha, Tangiers, and Nakhla??Sorry little bits of questions but Im a little new to these stuff. ryno
Shisha a fridges are a bad idea. For storage, alot of people use Lock'n Lock containers. I use old tubs of Al Fakher or Layalina if I have them. If not, I use gladware/ziplock plastic tubs that are polypropelene (they have a number 5 on the bottom)Tangiers and Nakhla are different brands of shisha. Nkalha is a very old school shisha and very easy to get smoking. Tangiers is made in San Diego and has a steeper leraning curve. Sonthert
As the President of Tangiers, I don't know how much I agree with the statement. I think Nakhla and Tangiers are roughly interchangeable. People a year ago didn't say too much good about Nakhla. Get people to pack it like Tangiers, and it smokes fine...so wheres the difficulty? You pack Tangiers like Tangiers or Nakhla in the same fashion...? The overwhelming majority of people smoke Tangiers and don't have a problem. The few that claim to have recurring problems make up a minority. Some people claim they don't like Nakhla. The only difference is the level of detail people go into when they express their objection. "I don't like Nakhla. Is fine, but people who don;t like Tangiers get dragged into this long drawn out thing explaining why they don't like Tangiers. You pack Nakhla and Tangiers the same way. If you don't like one, you probably don't like the other (Its not required by law, though....), the technique for packing a bowl is different than most people advocate for other brands. Neither brand is all things to all people, try both and decide for yourself, if you like one, the other, neither or both. I think, Ryno-man, some people don't like Tangiers and they make a big deal about it not smoking right. Thats fine. I think there's a small segment of people that complain about Tangiers, but have never smoked it...probably never will, either. I've looked at sales trends for a couple of retailers. Somebody buys Tangiers and they keep buying Tangiers, a little more than 80% of the time. They may smoke other brands, develop a Tangiers flavor they really like and only order that, but for the most part, they keep coming back. If the learning curve was steep, the percentage of people buying it again and again might be 15 or 20%, because people would give up in frustration. Tangiers is one of the top selling brands on almost every website that sells it, second to Starbuzz, sometimes third behind Al Fahker. Sometimes in front of Al Fahker.Matchew, as far as storing goes, to save you any more Tangiers sales blah-blah I would recommend you invest in some Ziploc or Gladware Polypropylene food storage containers. Some people have uses Lock 'N' Locks and Rubbermaid Polypropylene containers and love them, but I never tried them. Ikea also makes a nest of polypropylene containers for like $5 for 30 some containers. Some are way too small to use for anything, but for $5, they are a deal. I bought some, but haven't tried them yet.
