scarface
Alright For about the last week I have been trying to research and gather all my information about the different types of hookahs out there and I have visited numerous website and I was hoping that I could get some help from everyone here. Currently I have a Single Hose rotating hookah. I Have been looking into some of the multi-hosemod-hookahs from hookah-shisha.com mainly because they have the "auto-seal" system that is very intriguing. Has anyone smoked out one of with this system or not? Any thoughts or ideas? here is the link to the one that i have been looking into http://www.hookah-shisha.com/item.jhtml?UC...=354899%7C12847 31&PRID=1550087 Thank you in advance
yashman19
I have a multi-hose hookah, but it doesn't have an autoseal system, but to tell you the truth I'm more happy with it than one with autoseal. Sure its more of a hassle to plug your hose with your thumb, but I'd rather have to do that than worry about potential constricted air-flow that many people here claim to be a factor in their autoseal hookahs..Just the way most of them are setup, people have noticed that the pull is much harder in them. Wait until people who actually own autoseal hookahs chime in to give you their first hand info, but this is just how I feel.
yashman19
Oh, and here is a nifty solution if you don't want to worry about plugging the hose with your thumb. http://hookahforum.com/forum/forum_posts.a...asp?TID=3162&PN =1I personally don't want to have to deal with fastening a plug every time I'm done smoking, but people seem to like these. mushrat
I own a 4 hose hookah with autoseal. I have now drilled out 1 of my hose ports (and use a cork or one of the things from SS) and will eventually do the same with the other 2. The autoseal, while a cool idea, restricts the air flow tremendously. If you really want a multi hose, go with 2 at the most. Passing the hose i've found is part of the social aspect of smoking the hookah, and i find I don't smoke as much...

They're just there in case you do.
Halon
My roomie has a 3-hose autoseal hookah, and man is it hard to draw! I'll smoke a bowl with him and some friends and then switch back over to my single-hose and it feels like the smoke practially pulls itself into my lungs! Another thing is that if the smoke gets harsh there isn't really a way to clear the base aside from removing one of the hoses. TYLER
