Lucky_Strike
so i bought a new hookah today(only 50 bucks) i dont know the brand of the hookah, so when i go and set everything up and get ready to take a puff from it, it was so hard to suck it in, like it felt like something was cloged in it, i had no troubles like this with my old hose, so im wondering if its a bad hose or if i need to break it in a lil or what.. srawas89
it may or may not be the hose...could be the way you packed your bowl? What tobacco are you using and did you pack the tobacco in tight or did you pack it loose?
Sonthert
Take the hose off of th hookah and blow into it. If it feels tight and constricted, take it back...before you use it. Hookah places and pron stores are two places that don't like accepting used merchandise back. Well, I reread your post. You did use it. You may have to get a new hose...or you could try taking it back, if it feels clogged.
Arcane
maybe there's an obstruction...smack the hose on the ground a few times and blow through. that may dislodge something. or it may be a kink the in the hose...
tessad86
It may or may not be the hose, but in all likely hood if you know you loaded everything right you can try to blow out the hose, or try washing out if its a washable hose. We've had a problem at work, where some of the new hoses have been sitting too long and they get dust or they will even melt in heat, so it could actually be a bad hose as well. What kind of hose is it?
Crys
could also be your water level in the base....if its too high it'll make the pull harderyour stem should only be below the surface maybe a half-inch to an inch
