Rip Hookah?

Recommended Posts

so, there i was, cleaning my hookah, used the usual brush and warm/hot water down the entire stem (ie, from where the bowel would sit, to where the stem ends up inside the base) ...

i unscrewed the stem, gave everything a clean. took the whole thing apart gave it a good clean...

pat dried everything i could, and left it in the tub to air dry the insides.

meanwhile, i got my shisha ready, packed my bowel, and ate some food.

2hrs later, i went to put everything back together, but...

the stem, the bit that goes inside wont screw into the brain of the hookah...

i'm as sure as i can be that i didnt dethread the stem... but fact is, that i have no idea what to do.

i havent smoked a ciggy in 8 months because i hookah instead, but i'm sure as hell pissed, so i'm going out to buy some.

please, if you have any ideas, please, please, PLEASE leave a responce.

sincerely,

do you have pics?
Something like this happened to me last year....I think it may be time for you to buy a new one, bro. It's not too bad of a budge in the bank, if you get a mini-mya acrylic or a bambino or something...idk. Best of luck, man.

If the threads are stripped out, I'd JB Weld it back on. I recently got an old KM with the downstem that was broken off, found a replacement one and JB Welded it in and its worked great since

well, I'm not exactly sure why you would pack your bowel, and I'm not sure why you'd want to... but as far as fixing it, you're certainly in the right spot, heres what to try;
take a q-tip or cotten swab and make sure theres not something stuck in your threads.
oil it and try to get it to screw in
file the threads down and jb weld it back on.
