Tell us about your memorable hookah experiences.Social, spiritual, or just plain entertaining.I'll go first :)(Currently, I am sitting in my bedroom—my friends call it my studio due to most of the space taken up by guitars, a digital piano, an organ, and enough electronic equipment to cause brownouts in the neighborhood—smoking Romman double apple topped with orange. Interesting flavor. Listening to jazz and drinking Cable Car rootbeer, up way past my bedtime. Good thing I have a jar of Tums nearby :D )I live in Folsom. A suburb of Sacramento, CA halfway between Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. Over the summer, a couple close friends and friends of friends home from college decide to take a night time stroll to the lake for a relaxing evening. It's a wonderful summer night. Clear skies, crescent moon, a slight breeze, and enough shisha to last us 'til sunrise. The lake closes at sunset, so we are forced to abandon our cars far outside the main entrance. Specifically, at a friend's house half a mile away. My hookah is packed up securely in its case, and the weight of the handle digs into my hand with every step. Sneaking past guard posts and trucks retiring boats from the lake, we work our way to the ideal spot. We climb over a hill separating the water from the roads and down a dirt path leading towards the campground scattered with park benches. Eventually, after about a mile trek, we find a bench beneath a tree close to the water. By this time we've escaped most of the lights and our eyes have dilated enough to give us perfect vision in the dim moonlight. Using water from a gallon jug of spring water, I set up. The flavor choice is unanimous: Romman mint topped with cherry.Once I have everything set up and I'm beginning to light coals, more people have joined us at our spot. There is about seven people now (with still more on the way), gathered at the park bench or wading their feet in the shallow water. Large frogs, maybe toads, are jumping around in the brush and are starting to sing us their songs. Conversation is quiet, barely above the frogs and crickets, and the gentle splash of the lake is slightly audible. The hookah is going great. The refreshing mint compliments the summer air perfectly, and a lingering cherry flavor plays with the scent of flowers on our noses.I doubt it could have been more wonderful. Long time friends are catching up, telling stories, laughing and hugging while time seems to stand still. The smoke of the hookah is blue in the moonlight, and defined moonshadows fall on the ones sitting at the table. Brave frogs and small animals hang out around us as if they sense the peace of our gathering. As if it wasn't perfect enough, newcomers arrive with chips and salsa to satisfy our hookah munchies. All went home with a hookah buzz and a smile that night. And without the hookah, I doubt it would have turned out quite the same. That being said... your turn :)

All of my friends and me had a keger in the backyard and in the house
was the "hookah" room. A sh*t load of pipes were passed around with
better than the finest weed you can get in Arizona. People were
snorting meds. And everybody was just chillin and smokin the hookah.
Very peacefull time. A local band from az played acoustic in the
backyard. Some of the best times of my life.
