momatik
In my experience, leaving nakhla out for a couple of hours exposed to the air makes a world of difference. Edited July 13, 2009 by momatik
Stuie
Man Mint is super Awesome!!!!!It's a natural mint flavor. Like genuine mint leaves type flavor. I will let it acclimate 4 hours max and smoke it!
freeOS
Sounds like Mizo mint. My regular mint is perfect, but Mizo Mint was vix-grossness.

ilikemyusername
after I smoke a bowl of cardamom, I clean it and change the water of course, and wash out my hose but the next bowl I smoke is typically AF peach because the ghosting is so powerful that the cardamom comes through and mixes with the peach and makes for a pleasent smoke. Arcane
i actually forgot how strong the mizo mint was...i mixed about 80/20 Apple Orgy and Mizo Mint...and nearly every pull was mint with a bit of apple/anise. Gonna try 90/10 or maybe even less tonight...i'm thinking if i get the mix right, I may have Apple Orgy v5.

ih303
QUOTE (ilikemyusername @ Jul 13 2009, 05:24 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>nakhla cardamom is the ghosting championHear hear. My girl absolutely loves cardamom and packs it all the time. It drives me crazy because, while I like the flavor of cardamom, there is so much washing and rinsing to be done afterwards, it's made me dread it. I think I just need to buy a hose and make it my designated cardamom hose.Nakhla mint, in my experience, is different from, say, AF mint in that it seems to have much more of a menthol kick to it. I remember at the lounge I managed, we would always warn people when they would order the mint or chocomint that they would get smacked right in the back of the throat with a icy blast of menthol when smoking those flavors. Some people liked it, others didn't.I'm not sure if i'd call this more of a "true" flavor as I'm still convinced that AF mint has the most spot-on taste to it. That being said, it's still a very good flavor, just not for the faint of heart.
beantownhookah
wow 3/4 Al Fak Watermelon and 1/4 Nak Mint, the mint def stands out in the mix. not 2 mention some Coronas, this buzz is amazing.

chinodos
Should we be acclimating all mizo flavors? I had some mizo peach last night and while it was good, it was a little harsh towards the middle.
mattarios2
i don't acclimate any mizo's anymore except mint and watermelon if it has been closed for more than 2 weeks.other than that, they all smoke fine.if the peach tasted burnt, you had to much heat or not packed tightly enough in the bowldo you pack it like this ... http://www.hookahforum.com/?showtopic=31762
