Nakhla Vanilla Smells Like Playdough?

Recommended Posts

yeah, i've always thought vanilla smells like play-doh, it smokes much nicer though, but not very vanillaish. I took a vanilla bean, sliced it open and removed all the yummy vanilla funk inside. I then added that to 2 tbs of glycerine and poured it over the tobacco and mixed it nicely, it smells much better now and smokes better too.

That's a pretty genius idea, I'll have to get my hands on some vanilla beans and give that a try. Still have not managed to find any glycerine for sale around here though...

glycerine is commonly used for enhancing color in icings, so you can check bakeries, baking aisles and oddly enough, art supply stores.

Could also try a natural foods store. Haven't had nakhla vanilla, but I agree that the AF smells creamy like butter or something. I don't think I've had a vanilla that has an actual vanilla taste, most just add some sort of creaminess... Edited by Jeff_T
