New. Need Hookah Suggestions

i have been going to the local hookah bar the last few weeks with some people and enjoy it. i have decided i would rather buy my own so i can smoke when i please and not have to drive 30 mins there and back on the weekends, spend more money, and try new flavors.

I know the very basics i think, enough that when i get one i will be able to smoke it. i am having trouble deciding on what to buy and where. i am looking for a basic 2 hose hookah, something medium size just not one of those rea; small 12 inch ones. i was looking at sites like hookah company, hookah-shisha, or hookah hub.

i am looking for something in the range of 50-80 bucks maybe a little more. i know i am not going to get a great hookah for that price. i am wondering if you could recommend any of these hookahs that these sites sell or not.

if i get one of these is it not going to seal at all and i am going to very unhappy? the hookahs at the bar i go to seam very basic but they seem fine to me.

any info you could recommend like where to buy what to buy and what not to buy would be great thanks

Pick up either a Mya or a Khalil Mamoon (KM) pipe. Pick up some Coconara coals. Go to Walgreens, buy a Coil Burner (in the home appliance section) to light the coals with. Buy either Al Fakher or Nakhla to get you started uot.

KM is just slightly out of your price range, which is what most people here will suggest. Honestly my first hookah, and still one of my favorites, is a good Magdy Zidan. You can get a 30" 2 Hose MZ for $83. Or you can go a few inches smaller for $72. While i agree 1 hose is better for the most part, my first was a 36" 3 hose MZ, and i still love it, and pull it out for parties here at my house. Its a great party hookah.

spend at least $50 anything cheaper you will regret. There are a lot of options out there, MZ, KM, Mya, Nour, No names... It comes down to what you like ascetically i think, because once you got your packing technique down and your heat management you will be happy with whatever hookah you get.

My suggestions are as follows:

1. Buy from Hookah-Shisha (a.k.a. H&S).
2. Get a Nile (22" Egyptian pipe) Nammour pakage. These were going for about $75 the last time I checked.
3. Buy some Nakhla tobacco, and another wildcard brand you want to try in addition to the Romman tobacco that comes with the pipe.
4. Buy some Coco Nara coals, or the 3 Kings (33mm) if you desire quick-light coals.
5. Buy a phunnel bowl, either small or medium.

YOu don't need to get everything all at once, but at least get items 2 - 4 up front. With a little practice and patience, you'll be smoking like a king. (Well, maybe a prince at first, then a king later on.)

You want something thats going to last you a while and something that's going to smoke consistently, your best bet is a KM hookah.

Look into the chiller/ice, very solid stems.

I have 2 of the free Mya hookahs. They are fantastic. Not only are they party-proof in that they have an acrylic base, but they smoke wonderfully and can be converted to a 2 hose if you want. It's not going to blow anyone away with it's style, but it will last for a decade if you clean it properly (plus it's heavy enough to club someone to death).
