Anyone Else Sick Of Fruity Flavors?

Recommended Posts

Been smoking for quite some time, and ive just gotten tired of fruity shisha.

I usually smoke with my brothers, or my fiance's cousins and we are all tired of the Peach, watermellon, cherry, apple & other fruity adaptations of them.

We didnt really realize we were "jaded" till we started to smoke some unique flavors such as Tangiers Green Tea, Nakhla Earl Grey (huge hit) even some cardamon. Shisha like Chocomint even caramel have taken the place of strawberry & watermellon.

This was our conversation after a Earl Grey + Cardamon bowl - talk about a pungent combo, but GOD it was good.

Anyone else diggin what im jivvin?

I'm a fruit til I die biggrin.gif Nothing beats a good ol' bowl of orange on a hot day.

I just keep a lot of different flavors on hand and smoke different types everyday. Sometimes I'll throw down with some ILTBC, then some Green Tea, then some Blueberry, Melon Blend, etc.

I adore berry flavors so I try and smoke a lot of those.

Citrus flavors (lemon orange mandarins) are right on the border, infact last weekend after some Red Tea, we packed some Orange Mint fumari to clense the pallette, then switched to some Kashir Cherry i had acclimating. Its a nice change of pace.

Fruity flavors by themselves really have started to bore me, but when you add a unique diffrent twist like Kashmir, it gives it a whole new different persona.

Ive ordered some Rose Nakhla that i plan on mixing with the remaining fruits i have, see if that starts to tickle my fancy.

On a hot day, Nakhla Choco Mint or Earl Grey & Sperriment + ice = good2.gif

Sick of? Nah... but Green Tea, now that's something I didn't think I would like that I found I do quite enjoy. I have found that I prefer complex flavors, like Kashmir, or ILTOBC.. but single fruits are still good by me. Hey, I may change my mind... I've only gotten good enough at this to really enjoy it in the last 5 months or so ;-)

Not really sick of fruity flavors but I'd send Romman peach and cocktail on the ss failboat IMO. For the most part most stuff that has grapefruit in it I really like.

I like to keep many flavours and rotate. I tried "Zaghloul" non-flavoured shisha from Nakhla around 7 years ago but didn't like it. 2 years ago I bought some more and it grew on me until its often driving me from anything sweet. Tastes change over time, so I keep a variety.

I'm a fan of fruits but I want to try Earl Grey. I'm a huge fan of tea and your Earl Grey + Spearmint combo sounds orgasmic.

Well my very first bowl of shisha ever was Orange-Mint at a FSU game so that's what comes to mind immediately when I think of flavors, I could do without the mint, but orange is definately my go-to flavor.

Haha I just realized all the shisha I have right now is fruity. I have pina colada, tangerine, peach, mint, orange, mixed fruit, and sweet melon. Edited by Zooyork15
