normal bud.

I remember getting totally buzzed of Romman in the beginning. Now Tangiers F-Line hardly phases me.

You guys are awesome, thanks for the advice and reassurances. Just did a little more research on the lowest-buzz shishas I could find reviewed and ordered a few (starbuz, tangiers lucid, and a small sample of Golden Layalina). I'll keep ya posted.

Cheers!

no worries bro, its just a nicotine buzz, i still get it too, especially when i smoke a big hard bowl of al waha
not always
but pretty frequently i get a NICE buzz. you'll get more comfortable with it as you go, drink a beer or light alcoholic beverage with it, for me it helps even out the buzz alot and makes it easier to relax, the hookah buzz gives me a headache, a small amount of beer (4 or 5 spread across multiple hours) usually evens me out. another nice trick is to wait 10-30 seconds sometimes up to aminute between pulls to insure that you dont cut off your oxygen supply. it helps you take in the same nicotine but at an even pace instead of all at once.

Well, if I had 5 beers even over several hours I'd probably be asleep (but then I only drink microbrews, none of that watery stuff!). I did try slowing it down a lot and it really helped, ended up with a nice subtle buzz, much more what I was expecting. I also figured out that while I'm getting acclimated I can pack maybe 1/4th of a bowl all in one spot with one coal on top. It would probably drive you veterans crazy but it works for me-- not as much smoke, shorter session, less wasted tobacco from me getting too dizzy to smoke and ending the session early.

Baby steps, ftw!
