The Caterpillar
So, i've smoked Sheherazade Chocomint a few times now and the same thing happens every time:Bubbles fill the vase (Km tri-metal pharonie) up to the hose and I can feel them trying to come into the hose.I have made sure the vase was clean beforehand. I've done Chocomint bowls after another shisha without changing the setup and smoked a different flavor after without changing the shisha...It is EXCLUSIVE to the Chocomint. I love the flavor and hate having to watch my pulls so closely. This hasn't happened on any brand or other Nak flavor ever. WTF? I have a good 5-6" of vase for them to travel up to. Bad batch? ilikemyusername
umm, yeah... don't put milk in the vase and blame it on the shisha.
pinky
I think it happens with oily shisha. I have the same with Tangiers Kashmir Apple.
combs08
Hmm, never heard of that happening before.
ryno
I've had small bubbles before, but never big enough to bubble up the hose. Are you washing the vase out with soap? If so, that can be a real hassle to get all of it out

The Caterpillar
QUOTE (Hippo_Master @ Jul 19 2009, 10:34 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Probably soap!As I said, I've smoked different shisha without breaking it down before and after without that happening. I've never put milk in the base. I guess I will have to video it for validity...
mushrat
I can think of no reason for that to happen. I serve nak. Chocomint in the bar and have never had bubbleing issues. It could be related to whats in the shisha as Pinky suggested, though I sever that flavour as well and no problems.I gotta say I'm stumped if you arent using soap then I got no idea. I'll put up a video this week: one seamless shot, have 3 bowls setup to swap out, 3 different shishas with Chocomint in the middle. You will see the bubble action only with the Chocomint without changing the setup at all. It's crazy.
chromecarz00
What do you fill your base with?

I've never put anything in a base save for a tea bag when smoking OG Peach Iced Tea. And that was in a different hookah.
Sonthert
That is strange. It might be mint oil, making bubbles. Just a thought.
Stuie
that is the most bizarre thing.... something that can only be explained by.....THE CHARCOAL GNOMES!
Sordino
I have had this happen to me too, except with Starbuzz Blueberry Grape. What looked like small smoke bubbles filled up the smoke chamber and tried to get up the hose, containing only water that another bowl had just been smoked out of. After changing the bowl to another flavor the problem disappeared without bothering to change the water or any of the hoses or anything. So I have no idea, but I have only seen it once with that flavor.
Stuie
had a thought cause this has happened before to me but could cause this problem. You might have tobacco in the stem. Happened the first few times I smoke Nakhla and Tangiers in a Phunnel. Small bits of tobacco fell down the stem and it didn't cause to much of a problem they eventually were smoked out.... but that might be a possibility.
