Zinite
One of my Nammors broke the other week (I may or may not have been picking at it and it unraveled). I'm in the process of piecing it back together. Here's what I have so far with a little bit of hot glue and some scotch tape. I'm planning on buying some elastic fabric tubing to cover up the joints. I'm not reassembling it with the poofs... didn't like them very much. It's completely usable at the moment; it just looks like crap.

Codename067
Nammors have the tendency of breaking down. Have you ever considered a KM Hose?
Zinite
QUOTE (Codename067 @ Jul 19 2009, 05:45 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Nammors have the tendency of breaking down. Have you ever considered a KM Hose?I have two. One is completely rusted (take a hit and inhale a mouthful of black/red dust). The other is a KM rainbow that works fine. Occasionally I have to blow it out for several minutes, but it is not yet rusted. Both KM and Nammor hoses have their ups and downs, but I think I'd rather have a hose that is fixable when it unravels than one that rusts. ilikemyusername
you could get another piece of pvs for the hose port (ass) end of the hose, to give it that km hose look.

Capt. Morgan
I used rubber splice tape to fix mine. Sealed it up airtight. No pics at the moment though.

ih303
I have a Razan that has broken in every way possible. Every one of my fixes to the hose has been made with electrical tape. Oh, I also used some hemp string to re-bind the synthetic leather on the handle.I've kind of been throwing around the idea of going to one of many native-american stores around this part of the country and buying some deer hide and sinew cord to create a more eccentric handle. Maybe wrap the hose in fur.
combs08
Nice job fixing it up. And who cares if it looks like crap? As long as it works, then that's all that matters.

Zinite
Alright here's what I started out with:I took the yarn shit off of my dead KM hose. Used some vinyl tubing from my first DIY hose. Yarn + 3 glue sticks and a few burns on my hands = new hose handle.By the way, I know it's been posted before, but KM hoses are made out of old newspaper. There's no solid core to the handle - just lots of glue and newspaper. So I ended up using 3 pieces from the Nammor: The plastic handle, the hose tip, and the mouth tip. I used the yarn and puffs from my old KM hose, and some vinyl tubing from Ace Hardware.

indian_villager
You should have use the inner hose from the nammor. It is more flexible.

We'll see if I still think that after a few weeks of using the hose.
Zinite
It smokes better than any hose I've ever used. Beats Nammor hands down. Now just to work on the flexibility.
