How do I turn a I tunes song into a ring tone?
Anyone ever haver itunes say processing for 45 min after the song had downloaded? (more of a computer issue.)

Does the camera not zoom out of the box?
To zoom on a picture, or web page I have to? is it tap 3 fingers on the screen?

Sorry to bother you all. Edited by shesha1

Well, I have a 2nd gen Itouch so I'm going to assume the web page zooming is the same.

to zoom in, take two fingers, put one on the screen and dont move it. take the other finger and put it next to the stationary finger and drag it along the screen away from the stationary finger.

do the opposite to zoom out.

Shazam, hold it up to any song playing and it will identify the song, artist, and CD.

College FB, because you need to know the score of every game. Seriosuly.

Urbanspoon, find someplace to eat.

Facebook. DUH

Pandora, free custom radio

Snaptell, take a picture of something, find the best price for it

FML, comedy and pass time while waiting for something

WEather Channel app, to know the weather and stuff

Fandango, because you don't want to be that guy on the commercials

Why blackberry over iPhone? tell me what it really does better. Not by default, but actually better.

Well I dont:
check my face book, buy or sell stocks, make insurance claims, play games or music, take pictures, buy movie tickets, buy e-bay crap or Watch the latest Jonas Brothers podcast on my phone.

I actually use my phone for get this,,,, TALKING TO PEOPLE.. And in the sound quality deptment the Blackberry wins handsdown (at least on the ATT network)

Oh and the fact that I can pull it out of my pocket and not look like a 13yo girl, is just a bonus..

ok so nothing really then.

lol, its all good, people have their personal preferences. I personally like the browsing capabilities of the iPhone and the digital keyboard. They're developing (or have developed) sync capabilities so you can use the iPhone as a business tool just as well.

Blackberries are nice, but if I had the option to roll a bunch of features into one device for the same price, I don't see why I wouldn't. Edited by Dr. B

i'd like a phone to surf the internet (HF mostly), make phone calls, text, look up movie times, schedule appointments, and receive real time e-mail notifications...

do i get the Blackberry or I-Phone? Or another phone altogether?

I'd personally suggest a Blackberry, especially on Verizon. Verizon 3g is so much more reliable than att and its faster. Currently BB's on vzw don't have wifi, but the upcoming phones will... There are tons of apps available, same as iPhone, so I guess you could browse around to see which ones you like more. As for reliability and overall usability I'd recommend a blackberry.
P.S. Recently got a BB Tour on vzw and its incredible

As a former BB owner, the iPhone does everything better and faster. It's also much easier to use and has a better interface. the fact that Apple updates the software constantly is a bonus, too. Also, no butt dialing tongue.gif

I like my iPhone. Great little toy. It is more of a toy than a full out business tool for me but...I'm a college student...I don't need a business tool. tongue.gif

I mainly call people, play games, check movie times, and listen to a lot of music so having the iPod/iPhone in one device is very useful.

If you drive, get Trapster

It gives live GPS streams to reveal speed traps set by cops and stuff. It's ridiculously awesome but it drains battery like crazy cause it's a constant, dense data stream

Wow, thank you all. I can't tell you how much fun I am having witht this phone, I am at work streaming music, having fun. Texting is awesome! The thing plays video smoother than my ps3!
