Agave Nectar = More Smoke?

Recommended Posts

So I want to achieve bigger clouds with my Nakhla.

I have a few different kinds of agave nectar at my local grocery store in the organic section. They have blue agave nectar and a "regular" one.

Which one should I use if it matters, and should it give me more smoke if I mix some up with my nakhla?

I use the blue, they're just different plants, the lighter in color the less flavor will be imparted.

The glycerine is what gives nak bigger clouds so you'd do well to add both, the agave or honey is more to balance the glycerine although yeah, more moisture in general will give better clouds.

well whole foods sells it in the supplement section (vegetable glycerine) but i found a much bigger one for a much better price per ounce at a local health food shop, you may want to call around and see if any of yours carry it.

there is really no need to add anything. i have suggested many times in the past that it is good to. but if you just pack nakhla tighter, it will yield much, much bigger clouds, easily as big as any other brand.

i just posted in arcanes video thread about how i have been packing nakhla in an egyptian with the "Big cloud result" check that out and also check the tutorial if you haven't :

i use that same method with OG, adding no glycerin or agave or honey or anything, and producing the same size clouds.

Once again i said in the past it is good to add stuff to nakhla. but i say just pack it tighter and there is no need.

If you wanted to save on shisha it may not be a bad idea but nakhla is so cheap it doesn't matter anyways.

I find the glycerine they sell for cake decorating to be better than vegetable glycerine. The vegetable glycerine I have used has imparted a soapy taste... don't actually know what the difference might be between the two, or if I am just imagining it.

I keep the cake decorating glycerin and agave nectar around...mostly for Desi Murli. I don't add it to Nakhla Much anymore.
