714xDGAFxKING
just from what i hear that mini phunnel is a killer!! i want to get one soon. infact i need to order it on hookahjohns site. i should do that soon.
r1v3th3ad
mini-phunnels can only be purchased from current owners and they aren't cheap...get a small or medium phunnel. Vortexs are not that great, too restricted of airflow on them
Crys
yeah I just trolled through all the mini-phunnel threads and figured that outthe only reason why I'm leaning towards the Vortex is because it essentially has a scalli mod built in....and its less expensive than a small phunnelbut I will continue to dig for better prices
phantastik
Never used/owned a vortex, but from what i hear the airflow isn't as great, three small holes in the middle pillar vs one huge hole on a phunnel. And also, i love my mini phunnel to death, i treat it as well as i do with my hookahs. Small phunnels are the next best thing, they're my party bowls for when i cater for friends. Edited July 25, 2009 by phantastik
r1v3th3ad
its like smoking with a straw for a hose...thats how much it restricts

ryno
I'd suggest a Tangiers Small Phunnel. You can get a glass mini phunnel from MNH. MNH Mini PhunnelHonestly, the glass mini phunnel is probably cheaper than a Tangiers mini phunnel if you can find someone willing to part with theirs. As for the Chinese Phunnel, I wouldnt get one. They dont hold heat well and I've never really gotten one to smoke great

Codename067
Buy a Small Phunnel.Nothing wrong with the Mini, but a Mini is only good for solo sessions. I personally do not like smoking one bowl for over 1 hour on my own, so I usually pack the Mini when I am smoking alone. Small Phunnels are perfect for 2-3 people. delSol_si
Good luck on getting a mini, I've been bugging Eric for months now with no success. The man is awesome, just doesn't like budging on the minis.
Sonthert
Chinese phunnels use more charcoal...more than eroding the difference in price from increased charcoal consumption in a short time.
