scratchy
How does it compare to Nak Sweet Melon? I can no longer get the Nak version in Namibia, but a friend of mine can send me some AF sweet melon from South Africa. Is it worth it? Tried the Afzal Sweet Melon and almost threw up.Also, he said he got me some 50g AF Esk Apple. Didn't know they made them in 50g or is it fake? ice-786
Its not called sweet melon, just melon, checked now on their website. I have tried it but it didn't taste nice at all, neither did it smell nice. Smelled like it was sour/off.I only tried it the once but I was so put of that I never tried it again. But it might just have been a bad batch. It was also a couple of years ago so they might have improved thetaste. All the brands we get here in South Africa come in 50g boxes, very very rarely would you see any tubs. Edited July 27, 2009 by ice-
NimbleCow
I wasn't a big fan. Smelled/tasted like overripe/borderline too old to eat melon. May satisfy you in a fix--maybe I had a weird batch as well.

Zinite
I actually really like AF Melon. It doesn't taste the same as Nakhla... it's kind of a weird taste, but you should definitely try a 50g pack first.
Svaals
I really have to be in the mood for AF melon. You can taste the melon, and it's fairly strong. It does sort of have a weird over-ripened or chemical taste, though. I have not tried Nak to compare it, though.

Stuie
AF Melon was way to sweet for me. Didn't taste quite right either. I am not a huge fan of Nakhla Sweet Melon either. Romman Honeydew Melon is good. I like that one, but that's about the only true melon taste that isn't a blend that I like.
714xDGAFxKING
every company should make a 50g so we can try it and not be upset about spending money over 250g's.
