Scoop
I'm getting a fan for my room. My pc, ps3 and lcd meet up my room, which already suffers from a lack of air circulation. the room is 13x13 or so. I was looking at the Vornado 540B, 580HD and 630B.If anyone knows anything about them any help would be appreciated. (differences between models 540B and 580HD would be a help)
delSol_si
I used to use one of those oscillating tower fans and it worked really well, can't remember the brand though. If you really want to get some air moving, get a centrifugal fan, often called a squirrel fan.

Zinite
Vornado is a very good brand. In my only experience with them, they have been very loud.
indian_villager
I agree that they are not the quietest fans but they do perform. And the one window thing makes it tough. The thing is regardless of your fan you will still be blowing around hot air. You need to vent your room to the outside. Is it possible to mount a window fan in a nearby room blowing out and leaving the doors open? This will bring in cool air from the outside.
