chinodos
I have half a box on nakhla mizo peach left. When I first got it you could taste the peach so well, full of flavor. For about a week I kinda didn't use it...was trying other flavors that I got in my last order. When I tried it last night it was very, very light on flavor. Thought it mightve been too little heat since I was using two halves of cocos and ended up burning the shisha, and we all know once that happens its all over. I packed it nice and tight kinda like how I saw Eric packing the tangiers bowl in the video (had just watched it when I packed this unfortunate one.) Any ideas, thoughts? indian_villager
How did you store the shisa?
mattarios2
yeah it all depends on how you store it like IV said.if it isn't in a good air tight container this can for sure happen.I have had nakhla in my lock and lock containers for over a year, popped them open, and they taste perfect every time. chinodos
I've stored it in a plastic latch container that I got from HS free with my new Mya Gyro.

The plastic they are made of absorb flavor. hate to say anything bad about Mya, but those shisha containers are only good for storing coals. mattarios2
^ and there is your reason why the flavor was lost ... that is unfortunate :-(
indian_villager
There is your issue. Go to your local superstore and buy some food containers. Look for ones made of polypropylene. You can tell because they will have the recycle symbol with "5" written in it and under it it will probably say "99"I just use cheap ziploc and rubbermaid ones. gunsboy
What about AlFakher plastic tubs (the 250 g) ones. Do you think they could absorb the taste too, I have had similar experiences where AF lost its taste after a little while of opening it.

Sonthert
I would still try to acclimate it. It might be an acclimation issue. If the rest of the guys are right, you have nothing to lose by acclimating...right?
