Golden Canarys in Anaheim shops for sale? If you live in LA, you know you can get 1 box for $10.00, but the stores I have bought it from seem to be running on empty!!!!!!!!!!!

Am I alone in this or do you guys feel the same?
For example, Golden Crown on Brookhurst doesnt even carry them anymore.

that's because they are expensive on the retail end and the store owners would rather have you buy cheap junk that can mark up for times rather than .30 times
If I had to sell them at $10 a box they wouldn't be on my site either.

If I had to sell them at $10 a box they wouldn't be on my site either.

What do you mean by that? I imagine they charge $7.00 per box to the retailer. Why do They have to double the price to the consumer?

I just reserved. 12 boxes for 10 bucks each. I will go get them on Sunday. I saved $60.00. I just meant that when those are gone, I cant find them any where else that cheap.

that's good for you as the consumer, i would do that too.
when you ask why do they have to double the price to the consumer what do you mean? should they sell it at the same price they got it, should they increase it 10%, a few bucks? What would be fair to you? Retail usually likes to double or triple their money.

Yeah I just meant as a retailer was it standard for a double price increase. I understand now what your saying. Good business to make 2 to 3 times more. I get that. I just think sometimes the increases in relation to the standards are weird to me.

that is a good product but i think it's over priced, i do think the price would be good if the box was doubled. the reason you find so much junk in retail shops is that they can get easy lites for $2 and sell them to you at $8 easier than selling quality products and barely selling. alot of customers don't want to spend $15 on a small box of coals. i have seen one website that sells those by the stick if you want.
i used GC twice this week just to get a change from my reg preference.
they are ok, good actually, but as a consumer i wouldn't purchase them due to price and quantity.

Actually, the wholesale on Goldens is the same as it was.

I believe there are a number of people pissed at Canary and they are dumping their product lines. Something to do with a Baklava disagreement, believe it or not.
