mushrat
I use the stuff in the bar and havent had a problem with it. Could be your set up or it could just be a bad tub. It happens from time to time.
combs08
I would suggest breaking the 2 kings into 2 or 3 halves and placing them on the edge across from each other if you break them up in 2's but if you do 3's, form it into a triangle. I'm thinking that you might be burning it with too much heat concentrated in one area. Give my suggestion a shot then report back with details! Necro-I-Omen
I had that flavor before, it does taste pretty shitty. That and Margareta and Rose flavor are the worst ones I had so far.

indian_villager
Rinse everything out properly. Sprinkle loosely into the bowl. Foil poke holes. And split the coal into two pieces and put them at the opposite edges of the bowl.

john-doe-0007
Tangiers are the only ones that make the large phunnels correct? well i think i might get another hookah the mya qt, with a nammor hose, and also a tangiers phunnel.the nammor hose is great ffrom what i read, but why dont eveyone get them besides the money issue. isnt the washingable aspect of the hose a great upside compared to any that are not washable?phunnel bowl what makes it so good? i hear its hard to start the hookah with these. do they really make a difference in the smoke and tasste of the tabbaco? Brandon`
I would suggest moving the coals so half is sticking out on the edge. Maybe your packing it to high and its burning fast? Or maybe the tobacco is dry? Could be your setup. try making ur holes rlly small with the tip of a toothpick maybe?

Arcane
it actually seems like you're fairly new at hookah...so, take some time and look through the forums or even youtube. there are tutorials on how to pack a bowl, heat management, and what not. to be honest, i wouldn't worry about getting new stuff just yet...instead, work on getting good at your current set up. there's no sense in buying new stuff when you don't really know what you're doing yet. that's like having a beater car, then buying a Porsche to learn to drive.my advice for AF is to sprinkle just above the rim (you can go up to 1/4in), foil over using the foil to make the tobacco level with the rim, poke holes with a toothpick, with your 3 Kings...just split it in half and put the halves on opposite sides of the bowl. Stuie
I am agree with what ever one says. AF has bad batches from time to time. But I have never had a bad Lemon Mint of anything.
hartwell778
Lemon-mint is one of my favorite flavors so you probably have a heat or stem problem
