Scuba Diving

That one didn't come out well, but that's a lionfish in the middle left of the pic.

Puffer fish

We saw a lot of cool stuff in the 5 dives we did, we saw a cashed cesna plane at about 80 feet, but I didn't have the camera on that dive. We also saw a nurse shark but it was hiding under the reef so I couldn't get a good picture of it.

Looks fun man. Have you ever done the Bay Islands?

Unfortunately no, this was my first time diving in the ocean. I've been certified for 8 years but had only done lakes.

I'm definitely getting certified to wreck dive when I get the time.

Wreck diving is fantastic, I got to do some of that in Cuba, fantastic pirate ships and shit.

I got my open water and advanced open water in Utila, Bay Islands. Two dives a day + certification + accommodation is like $200/week, plus kayaks which are great for touring around the cays.

Planning to head over to Costa Rica's pacific coast in the near future to check out some of the ray swarms! Edited by gaia.plateau
