Incosistency In Nakhla Flavours

Recommended Posts

I've noticed something odd about Nak. Some of the flavours I can get to smoke really really well, Nak Peach being one of them, but the others just seem to smoke inconsistently.

With exactlly the same setup, I can get El Basha grape and Peach to smoke fantastically, no harshness, great flavour and bowls that seem to last for ages. Flavours like double apple, cola and chocomint never seem to smoke just right though. I always end up burning it and get thin smoke.

Is this a common problem or do you have to use different techniques with different flavours within the same brand? Edited by scratchy

just like other brands man, some flavors require less heat and slightly different set ups. I find guava needs less heat than most nak flavors and fakfhakina mixed fruits needs more heat than the normal.

This is normal, experiment, and you will find the light!

I agree with Matt.

I love ChocoMint and it takes a bit more heat. Cinnamon smokes good with less heat but it's like super awesome with a lot of heat. You just have to find the balance for that flavor.

German export Nakhla smokes badly. They have less glycerine and Propylene Glycol in to meet the German 5% law. I know you get German stuff, so maybe some of the stuff you're getting is German export Nakhla.
