Mya Gyro Hard To Purge

Recommended Posts

I have a mya gyro and it seems extremely difficult to purge. Even with a release valve placed. Anybody have any advice on what to do about this?? Smoke last night got a bit harsh after I placed the second round of coals on and I couldn't get it out.

I've seen people with the appropriate amount of water in their jar having water reflux in their plastic tip...

Why is that then?

I'll give what you all are saying a shot, but it's a fairly new hookah. Probably only used it about 10 sessions.

Myas are a common chamber, meaning they will purge like crap. Theres not much you can do, I have a common chamber and it smokes great, just purges maybe the hose.

use less heat, or manager your heat better... or avoid short draws... all those things make smoke harsh... not to even mention packing technique Edited by kvtaco17

I made a purge tube by bending 1/4" brass tubing, flaring one end, and sticking it through the purge port after I enlargened the hole. It actually purges now.

If I'm not mistaken, I think indian_villager did the same thing using a plastic straw. Edited by foibled again
