I joined a dog forum a while back to read up on labs and crap like that, after doing so ive realized, all dog forums have crazy members in them. if you dont believe me then prove me wrong.

First thing that crazies do on these forums is post 10 billion smileys per post. (not all forums, but a few
2nd is they like to make posts for their dog (as in they do the first person view of their dogs)
and 3rd they make posts like this one
Has your dog got something they do when they are feeling naughty?
Mines had a naughty day today, if I say come, he says in a minute
If I say sit, he says when I've finished this sniff
If I say dinner, he says ok ok ok

wow. pet people can be insane (pet person here). I hate when people infantalize pets to the extreme of treating them like babies and bringing them EVERYWHERE. And that post scares me.

well...i am a dog owner and i do have weird habits when it comes to how i treat my dog. for instance, unless we're doing obedience training...i'll use full sentences to talk to my dog. Instead of "sit" or "stay", I'll say "take a seat over there by the computer" or "wait for me right here". My dog understands, for some reason.

Also, I'd prefer a day of watching TV with my dog than going out getting wasted at a club...sooo, yeah.

See, thats not crazy (well to me it isnt). Ill talk to Skyler, my wife catches me doing it when i dont even know i am. what i do believe is crazy is making first person posts about your dog. as for going out and getting crazy drunk (spending shitloads of money to do it), i dont see the point of that.

See, thats not crazy (well to me it isnt). My friends are always begging me to go out and drink with them, I say to them we should just chill smoke and drink at my place.

It costs almost nothing, it is more enjoyable and we have a hookah to smoke all night FOR FREE!

Man I am glad I am not the only one that doesn't enjoy going to bars and clubs....I mean, ya, they can be fun, but not to drink at. Just one beer can cost like 3-4 bucks. Takes a good 15-20 buck for one person to get drunk. If you just have some friends over to drink, get a case or two of bud light for the same price and get 2-3 people shit faced and not have to put up with crappy music, stinky ciggs, or assholes. Plus then you gotta worry about getting home, if you get trashed at home, your already home! If a buddy insists on going to the bar, I always insist they drive and I get to pregame it.

I love being a lightweight...check out arcane and ashes87's siggs..you will see what I mean. I am pretty well one of the only guys I drink with that can get drunk off 4-5. Of course I do drink them relatively fast, I don't just sip on them. I can do it in 3 if I use a beer funneling device. But, the more I drink the higher my tolerance is getting, so we shall see if I can still do this when I get back to college...as ashes and some of the hookahforum chat regulars can attest to, I tend to drink a bit some nights.

And for the women, I agree, usually if I get a case and drink with my buddies, there are no women, maybe one if we are lucky...but I am hoping that changes next semester. The chat regulars suggested just handing out tons of flyers to women only, men if they ask to invite them out, of course this is only when we pull a kegger. Never had a kegger before, but my buddy and I are building a cabin for him to live in out in the country, so once it is done, he wants to throw a big party, I talked him into a keg lol, funny story, over winter break last year, I was staying with the manager of the place I used to work at...sleeping on his couch. Him and I would go out and get trashed a couple nights a week. He got trashed EVERY night, but I can't handle more than 2 a week myself. Anyway, we would drink a few at his place, and then take a couple with us and drink em while we walked downtown

Crazy people can be found everywhere. But remember that these people have a dog for a reason, some people say that some have dogs because they fail to have a relationship with a real person, so they get themselves a pet to comfort themselves Not all obviously... Rule number one about drinking... its a marathon, not a sprint... you're less likely to feel like shit if you slow down...

As for the dog forum, and posting in first person, I hate reading the listings on petfinder for that very same reason... they make it sound so bad... oh well...

i always thought drinking was a sprint? The faster u drink ur beer the quicker and cheaper u get drunk... I mean if getting completely shitty is ur goal for the night. When i sit down with a six pack of sam adams i like to enkoy it and take my time
