In your view whats the best Shisha and y?

Recommended Posts

it is hard for me to nail down a best one since there is a lot out and I have not tried them all. I am sure everyone can agree on that. For me I like romman, fumari, and nakhla. but those are the only ones I have tried. I have tried tangiers, but could not get it to smoke right.

Fumari passion fruit, golden AF eskandari apple (sour apple), starbuzz vanilla/white grape...for me, tangiers is on a whole different scale and its uncomparable to the ones mentioned above...anyways, some people here dont see the potential of tangiers tobacco, but i for one can see it and like to explore!

For some reason, I like almost anything Nakhla puts out the best. Kinda weird, but it's just a down-to-earth, basic, authentic old-school tasting line of flavors. I guess my all time favorite flavor of theirs is regular apple.

Romman peach and mint, also al waha mint and 5 star have always been
some of my favorites.  They were the first tobacco's I started
smoking.  Then was a lot of Hookah-Hookah shisha, which I really
liked the watermellon the most out of all their flavors(which I have
smoke just about all of them).  And now, just like everyone else
on here, I have decided to try tangeirs.

I can't figure you out man

A good flavor to start with is Al Amir.  They are pretty
consistent.  Buy some 50 g samplers.  You could also go ahead
and try Al Fakher, or maybe order a sampler off of fumari.
Everybody has different opinions of what is "the best"  and people
usually cant decide on an absolute favorite.

When I think about the "best" shisha one of the major factors I have to weigh is price.  Starbuzz for example may be the highest quality ma'assel, but for 19 bucks a tin, it's not economical for me (or anybody I know for that matter).  Thus, a ma'assel that can be purchased at half the price and is still of  good quality is what I would consider to be "best."  Tobaccos that could qualify include Al Amir, Havana, and AF.

Always one to throw a plug in there.
Seriously, HookahCompany is great.

Here in oz I have one brand to pick from "Mouj Al Bahr" this is if I don't ship it in myself, Mouj Al Bahr is made in Saudi Arabia it has all the flavers so no worrys about  that...(I'm a grapes man myself!!) but it is not like the stuff you get from Egypt, Dubai (UAE) or Baharain.... it is Simple if you want Great Apple get it from Baharain if you want Great mix get it from Egypt.... Grapes from Dubai (UAE) and everything else well there good from all.The only reason I know this is cos I lived in the Middle East for 11years and thats how I got started... In my opinion, Al Amir is one of the best ma'assels, it's not so expensive, it tastes gread (especially the Guava and the Blackberry) and it's quite juicy Tangiers is also great, especially the blueberry, but it's a bit too strong for me!I think no one has mentioned Layalina yet, which is a very good tobacco, too! It tastes great (black grape & blueberry!!!!), even if it's made of low-quality tobacco (therefor it's very cheap!)P.S: How can you complain about 19 $ for a tin of Starbuzz, I have to pay about 25$ for 250g of Layalina! Starbuzz would be about 35$ for me! greetsTim

It is really a matter of personal preference. Some people like a stronger smoke. Some like smoother smokes. And everyone has a flavor preference. One brand or flavor may not appeal to someone, while another person will really enjoy it. You really have to try different brands and jump in. There are lots of good brands out there that are equal in quality just different.

It depends. If you smoke on a routine basis, I've found that the really premium flavors/brands just become overkill. For example, I remember getting some al-Amir apple and grape once. Great stuff...thick smoke, heavy flavors, nice buzz...but somehow I gravitate to something more pedestrian for everyday smoking, going for something simple and consistent. These days, it's al-Waha's 5-Star and Double Apple that seem to have the best attraction for me. They're consistent, they always deliver, and I know what I'm getting when I sit down with the machine and drop a coal on. Plus, they're more economical; I could easily get all the Romman I wanted around these parts, but that stuff's $4.50 for 50g as opposed to the consistently cheap al-Waha at $7.95 for a 250g tub.

I like Tangiers. When you smoke it, the Muffin Man runs up and kicks you in the junk. Plus, it's David Hasselhoff approved. No other ma'assel can claim that.
