Brumonkey
Okie dokie! So i know you can "air out" shisha. From what i understand its to bring a closer balance with the tobacco and the relative humidity. I assume, like other tobacco products, the shisha can stale, dry out etc. With staleness I would figure you are S.O.L. but the drying out part can be remedied with a few parts honey/molasses. I would think that the honey/molasses would act as a preservative and help keep the tobbacco fresh(er). What is the self-life to exposed shisha? And naturally, if you have $0.02 or even a nickel youd like to contribute im all ears... or eyes... or something.
mushrat
you only air it out for a few hours before smoking. if it dries up from that eventually..you need to smoke faster.
Alqoshnia
I realized its much better and more efficient if you JUST air out however much you're gonna smoke, NOT the whole tub. The only reason Ive been keepin the whole tub out is that its a GREAT AIR FRESHNER. I know I know its not meant to be an air freshner, but hey why not kill two birds with one stone. Sonthert
If your tobacco gets dry, try stirring it up. There shouldn't be anything volatile in the tobacco, if its made properly/responsibly.
zzzzzT
I take the tobacco and lay it out on some aluminum foil for 24 hours so it gets maximum exposure to the air. It usually improves quite a bit.
