Bringing In Tobacco From Egypt?

Recommended Posts

So I've almost convinced my mom to bring me back copious amounts of tobacco when she gets back from Egypt (here's hoping for another hookah too).

I admit I'm not too familiar with customs, and I'm not sure if there's a limit on how much one can bring in for their own personal use.

Also, if anyone knows of any overly amazing things to look for in Egypt, I'll let her know. Fortunately, she's a native and can probably get decent deals. smile.gif.

Thanks!

Al Moez St. in Old Cairo is the main hookah marketplace I believe.

So my mom ended up coming back with 10 50g packs of Nakhla for about $6. Got two of Strawberry, melon, lemon, orange, and peach. Lemon smells funky, everything else smells great.

And I now have 500 more grams of shisha. I was really pulling for some unknown branded stuff (i.e stuff we can't get here), but my mom had to keep it a short trip. Bummer.

No hookah either. *sigh*

But hey, cheap tobacco = awesome.
