I got sick of replacing the hoses for my Hookahs so I went and got some clear plastic hose 10mm and took my old hoses and fitted the ends to the new hose now not only can I see the smoke when i'm pulling but i can wash the hoses without them falling apart on me.One other thing I noticed once I'd made the change is that the flow was mad it is like just breathing in... the is no pull too get the smoke it is just there... try it... go ahead and get you new hoses but while you are waiting go to your local get some clear plastic hose and try it... one tip if you do do it get Boiling water outa the tap and run it through for like 4-5 min or so just so the plastic smell is removed... good luck and have fun with it....

There is this store in Houston that has a hodgepodge mix of hookah equipment in the back.  It's a middle east/Indian grocery store but it has lots of tobacco and hook equipment.
Anyway, their prices are unbelieveable.  I bought that Mya 80" hookah hose that I found laying on a back shelf for 15 bucks.
If anyone lives in/near Houston, I can give them directions.  The store also carries Nakhala, AA, AW, El Basha, Sultan, and several others that I can not identify.

I owned about 5 of them ..  I washed one of them and ruined it.  The second one I tried washing with cold water and dried it right away and did not use it until it was completely dry and it was not damaged.  Now I have 2 hookahs and I dedicate each hookah for a specific shisha.  After a couple of sessions the shisha taste is very strong.

I can attest to the fact that those Tundura hoses that Tangiers posted a link for are definitely the best hoses I've ever used.  I have one with my Khalil Mamoun hookah and it hits sooooo perfectly.  They are 50% wider than your standard washable hose which gives you a very nice draw.  Also, aesthetically speaking they are the shi.t.  My local shisha cafe uses only those hoses.
Don't really worry about flavor clash with'em, but it probably makes sense to use a different hose for smoking dapple or any other anise-flavored ma'assel due to the overwhelming strength of that flavor.
